Shipping policy

We offer free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $100, and a $9.95 flat rate on orders under $100, to any state. Order before 12pm AEST on a business day and it leaves our Gold Coast warehouse the same day.

Dispatch

Orders placed before 12pm AEST, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12pm are dispatched the next business day.
We don’t dispatch on weekends or public holidays.
Everything is boxed securely at our Gold Coast HQ, and you’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order is on its way.

Delivery times

Typical transit times after dispatch, in days:

Small parcels (up to 1 kg): QLD 2–4, NSW 2–5, VIC/SA/ACT 3–6, NT 3–7, WA/TAS 4–9
Medium parcels (1 kg and over): QLD 2–5, NSW 2–5, VIC/SA/ACT 3–6, NT 3–7, WA/TAS 4–9
Large parcels (5 kg and over): QLD 2–5, NSW 2–5, VIC/SA/ACT 3–6, NT 4–8, WA/TAS 4–9
Skateboards (10 kg and over): QLD 2–6, NSW 4–10, VIC/SA/ACT 4–10, NT 5–10, WA/TAS 5–10
E-bikes (30 kg and over): QLD 2–6, NSW 5–10, VIC/SA/ACT 6–14, NT 6–14, WA/TAS up to 16

Estimates are based on areas with regular postal and courier service. Remote locations can take longer. In peak periods, bulky freight can occasionally take 7–20 business days. If your order hasn’t arrived within 16 business days, email info@ampdbros.com with your order number.

Who delivers your order

Small parcels (parts, accessories and gear): AusPost, Aramex or StarTrack. If no one’s home, the driver can leave it in a safe place.
Large parcels (skateboards, trailers and larger accessories): AusPost, Aramex, StarTrack or Toll IPEC.
E-bikes: Toll IPEC, signature required. Bikes are never left at the door, so ship to an address where someone will be home, such as your work, a friend or your local bike shop.

Express delivery

Express is available at checkout for parcels up to 8 kg, priced by weight:

Under 0.5 kg: $18.99
0.5–0.9 kg: $24.99
1–2.9 kg: $29.99
3–4.9 kg: $39.99
5–8 kg: $49.99

Express isn’t available for parcels over 8 kg, except trailers (see below).

Shipping insurance

We strongly recommend insured delivery for anything valuable. It’s offered at checkout for orders up to $5,000:

Orders up to $499.99: $29.95
$500–$999.99: $49
$1,000–$1,999.99: $69
$2,000–$3,499.99: $100
$3,500–$3,999.99: $129
$4,000–$5,000: $149

For orders over $5,000, call us to arrange cover. Uninsured orders damaged in transit aren’t covered by Ampd Bros.

Trailers

Standard shipping: free Australia-wide, whatever the order total.
Express: $49.95 Australia-wide.
New Zealand: $99.95 AUD.

Gold Coast pickup and assembly

Pickup from our Gold Coast HQ is free. Choose pickup at checkout and we’ll let you know when your order is ready.

Bikes ship about 80% assembled. If you’d like our workshop to finish the job when you pick up, let us know before you come in so it’s ready:

E-bike assembly: $99.95
Kids bike assembly (EVO and Lil Rippa): $69.95
Trailer assembly: $69.95
Everything else: $130 per hour

Assembling at home? Follow your owner’s manual and our video guides. Incorrect assembly isn’t covered by warranty.

New Zealand

We ship parts and accessories to New Zealand. Rates are based on the total weight of your order (AUD):

Up to 0.5 kg: $14.99
0.5–1 kg: $19.99
1–3 kg: $39.99
3–5 kg: $49.99
5–10 kg: $99
10–70 kg: $199

Other countries

We don’t offer checkout shipping outside Australia and New Zealand, but we can often still help. Email info@ampdbros.com with what you’re after and where it’s going, and we’ll send you a custom quote.

All international orders ship from Australia. Import duties, taxes, customs fees, GST and other local charges aren’t included in our prices or shipping fees, and are the buyer’s responsibility. Ampd Bros doesn’t cover or reimburse these charges. Unpaid charges can lead to delays, returned shipments or forfeited orders.

Remote areas and islands

Remote locations, islands and areas with limited courier service may attract a surcharge, and we may need to adjust or cancel an order if we can’t deliver there. Contact us before ordering for an exact quote.

P.O. Boxes and parcel lockers

We don’t ship to P.O. Boxes or parcel lockers, unless arranged with us in advance for small items under 20 kg sent with Australia Post.

Missed deliveries

Signature deliveries will be carded or taken to the carrier’s depot. If a re-delivery is needed, a fee of at least $25 applies. Shipping bikes to an address where someone will be home avoids this.

Correct shipping details

Please double-check your address at checkout, and contact us straight away if something’s wrong. Once an order has shipped to an incorrect address, we can’t recover or refund it.

Christmas deliveries

For delivery before Christmas, place your order by 12pm AEST on 2 December. Orders placed after this may still arrive in time, depending on the item and where you are, but delivery isn’t guaranteed.

Delivery estimates

Delivery times are estimates only. Once your order leaves us, transit is in the carrier’s hands, so we can’t guarantee a specific delivery date.
